Meredith House has provided accommodation for visitors to Swansea for over 100 years.
From its elevated position overlooking the town, it is but a short walk to shops, welcoming cafés & restaurants.

Our newly renovated Mews-style Studios are fully self-contained to provide self-catering accommodation offering every comfort for the discerning traveller including free Wi-Fi and internet access.

Studio Mews has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower (no step) and is accessible for people with mobility difficulties. It also has a queen-size bed and a single bed, kitchenette, and dining area. 

Spa Queen Studios
Adjacent to Meredith House, the three mews-style studio apartments, each have ensuite bathrooms with spa and shower, a kitchenette and dining area, queen-size bed comfortably accommodating two adults. 

With off-road parking to the front and a private veranda on to the cottage garden at the rear, the Spa Queen Studios are perfect self-contained accommodation in which to unwind and relax. 

The Spa Queen Studios are self-catering accommodation; you can bring your own provisions, pre-order a breakfast pack or you may choose to walk down to one of the local cafes for a leisurely breakfast or brunch.

Traditional Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

Meredith House continues to offer some traditional hosted B&B accommodation, with the added option of being room-only.  

The impact of Covid-19 means that we have had to adapt our traditional B&B accommodation to meet changing rules and regulations; you can still expect excellent service and comfortable rooms, but we have had to make changes to our legendary Tasmanian breakfast. 

Although unable to offer a full buffet breakfast in our dining room, we can provide a smaller menu of tempting goodies; service is limited to a maximum of 8 people at any one time, but we may sometimes offer room-service breakfast to some rooms. 

Accommodation choices range from a queen bedroom, twin bedroom, or a family room.  All rooms have an ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, and TV.  Whichever you choose, you may be assured of a comfortable night's sleep.
